What is Property Law?
Property law governs the various forms of ownership of real property and personal property. Property can be anything that is owned by a person or entity. Real property is defined as any interest in land, real estate, growing plants or improvements on that land (i.e. your house). Personal property is defined as all other kinds of property that does not constitute real property (i.e. your phone).
